Who We Are
We are an African Technology startup on a mission for Africa. What we have is our hunger to build the Africa we want. At Itara, we are obsessed with growth and development in Africa.
We believe we can utilize the technologies of the fourth industrial revolution to drive growth in Africa. We are committed to using these technologies to ensure development and integration within and across Africa as well as maximize the gains of globalization within the continent.

We have developed a unique business model that focuses on three core sectors - retail, manufacturing & industrialization, and trade to transform Africa.
We are cognizant of the scale of our dreams and the challenges ahead. We are, however, fully committed to our mission, and we would play our part in the development of our continent. Africa is our home. Africa is our pride. We must band together to build the Africa we want.

Our First Product

ItaraShop.ng
Introducing ItaraShop - A platform to make locally made goods and African brands accessible.
In line with our mission to lead the digitization of African societies, we are digitizing the informal production and manufacturing ecosystems starting in Lagos, Nigeria. We believe this would lead to the migration of workers into the digital economy and enable them to reap the benefits of digital inclusion.
We work with our product partners – entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and creatives – to enhance their production and creative processes, improve the quality of their products, and offer them a clear path to market.
Lastly, the consumers win as they would have access to the best locally made products.
